Lake Country Dance is thrilled to announce our first-ever annual production of The Nutcracker! This timeless holiday tradition is coming to life on our stage, and we can’t wait to kick off the most magical season of the year with YOU.
From sweet little Gingerbread to the regal Sugar Plum Fairy, there’s a magical role for every dancer in our enchanting Nutcracker cast! Whether you dream of leaping through the Land of Sweets, tiptoeing as a Toy Soldier, or waltzing with Snowflakes, every performer will bring a piece of the holiday magic to life. With roles available for all dancers, our cast will twirl, march, sparkle, and shine across the stage in this timeless holiday tradition. Everyone who auditions receives a role because there’s no such thing as too much magic!

A $100 costume fee is due upon registration.
If your dancer would like to be considered for multiple roles and is cast in more than one, there is no additional rehearsal fee, just an additional $100 costume fee for each extra role.
Please Note: A $100 costume payment will be collected at the time of registration. This covers one costume and is separate from the participation fee.
The performance participation fee, along with any additional costume payments for dancers cast in more than one role, will be processed after casting is finalized.

All dancers ages 3–18 are invited to audition. No prior experience is required, just bring your passion and a big holiday smile! Every dancer who auditions will be placed in a role that suits their age and abilities.
Participation fees are based on the dancer's age. Your participation fee includes all rehearsals, regardless of the number of roles your dancer is cast in:
Ages 3-4yrs, $150
Ages 5-6yrs, $200
Ages 7-9yrs, $250
Ages 10+, $300

Rehearsals | Week of August 11th
Principal and Small Ensemble roles may rehearse on weekdays and/or weekends.
Large ensemble numbers will rehearse on weekends, though not every weekend. Rehearsal schedules will be shared after casting is announced.

Dress Rehearsal | Week of Showcase
Performances | Saturday, November 22 & Sunday, November 23
